Kashmir Leaders Praise Pakistan’s Multifaceted Strategy on Dispute

MUZAFFARABAD: Senior Kashmiri leaders have lauded Pakistan’s integrated approach to national security and the Kashmir dispute, describing it as a blend of military strength, political acumen, and effective diplomacy. The endorsement came during a high-level meeting of the Muttahida Yakjehti Council in Muzaffarabad, convened by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference’s Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter.

‘Marka-e-Haq’ as Comprehensive National Strategy

Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of APHC-AJK, addressed the gathering, characterizing “Marka-e-Haq” not merely as a military success but as a comprehensive national strategy. He argued this development demonstrates that Pakistan is both strong in defense and a responsible actor promoting regional peace and stability.

Safi paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership, stating that under his command Pakistan has emerged as a and dignified force globally. He credited armed forces’ professionalism and strategic planning for countering hostile designs, enhancing the country’s defense capability and prestige.

International Diplomacy and Sovereignty

The leader asserted that the development sends a clear message: Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty, security, or principled stance. also appreciated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s diplomatic efforts, noting that Pakistan’s political leadership has effectively highlighted the Kashmir issue at international forums and exposed India’s unilateral actions.

Human Rights Concerns in IIOJK

Reaffirming continued support, he said the Kashmiri people’s freedom movement will continue its logical conclusion, and the APHC will keep representing their aspirations at every level. Meeting participants expressed full solidarity with Kashmiris and endorsed Pakistan’s principled stand on the dispute.

World Press Freedom Day Concerns

Separately, on World Press Freedom Day, APHC-AJK Information Secretaryhtaq Ahmed Butt expressed serious concern over the deteriorating media environment in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said journalism in the territory is going through of its worst phases, with increasing pressure, restrictions, and challenges faced by media professionals.
